Advertising for children’s eyewear range

Following on from the successful creation of a brand identity for the Zenith range, we were asked to develop a new look for the Lazer Junior brand. Our challenge was to give the range a more youthful feel that would appeal to the target audience and reflect the colourful style of the frames.

A series of new photography was commissioned for the campaign, featuring cheeky looking children wearing the frames in front of brightly coloured backgrounds. To give added vibrancy we also used coloured lighting to suit each individual piece of eyewear and superimposed patterns from the frames to give texture to the backgrounds.

The resulting imagery helped us to create a unique series of press ads which conveyed the fun feel of the range whilst communicating the attributes of each frame in a subliminal way. The advertising is currently running in the trade press and will be backed up by a new brochure to be released in August.
