Communications for 2010 Film Festival

The Co-operative have been co-ordinating the Film Festival for over 30 years now as part of their community sponsorship programme. It gives school age children the opportunity to see their work on the big screen and has been the inspiration for many of the UK’s budding directors. In 2010 the festival ran from 6th-7th October at the National Film Festival in Bradford.

We were tasked with adapting the existing branding so that it would work across the many communications pieces used to promote and facilitate the event. These included programmes, posters, banners, certificates and on-screen graphics as well as branded merchandise such as t-shirts and badges.

The t-shirts were designed to appeal to the target audience, with Director text on the front and a list of all the film titles on the back. They went down a storm amongst all the age groups and will no doubt be kept as mementos for years to come.
