Fresh Flights of Fancy...

The holiday season is upon us and it’s the time of year where everyone jets off to (hopefully) sunnier climates. It’s been a busy 2010 so far at fresh HQ, and so you know where you’ll be able to see a fresh and friendly face on your travels, we’ve asked all our team where they’ll be going, or in some cases, have been, for a much needed summer rest. Matty and Patrick from our sales team love a bit of Blighty, and are spending their summer breaks in Lock Fyne and Devon. Lauren from our Interactive team is off to a festival in Croatia with, in her own words, “a large group of Mancunians....” After an aborted start following the collapse of Goldtrail, Luisa has finally made it to Kos and is enjoying a sunny hiatus with her little boy while the rest of us get wet in “the hottest summer since records began.” Benni from Rewards is spending 10 days in the Baltic sea and Gemma from our edit team has already had her holiday, spending two weeks in Kenya earlier this year. Jodi, Partnership Director for Rewards is off to France with 6 other couples, 12 children between them – via le vino! And Lisa from our events team is heading for two weeks of tequila slammers in Mexico. Nicky from Create has used most of her holiday entitlement for the year on her honeymoon to Hong Kong, Thailand and Dubai, and watch out Abersoch as Becky from our events team and Rick from our studio descend for a holiday hiatus. And next week Damian and Julie head off to Florida, leaving all of us here very jealous! Have a good time all – September is another busy one!

Extreme weather did not halt this awesome challenge on the Exmoor National Park. 150 people, including our brave participants, rose above the elements in September 2008 to complete the Cap Gemini Wild UK Challenge, raising over £100,000 for The Prince’s Trust.

With the fresh crew and their hangovers back from a fantastic 5th birthday in sunny Barca, the mischief and mayhem captured on camera has caused amusement and daydreams of more days in the sun. If like most of us, your summer holidays are starting to become a distant memory and now the cold long winter nights are making you cry and go within yourself come and have a look at our pics on flickr might spark a little smile in your darkest hour :)

Sometimes we are that busy that some of us are like coiled springs ready to snap with the stress of the workload and then there are some of us that are like grumpy oversized silverback mountain gorillas like Timmy who just really like to get angry at anything just because they like the sheer testosterone kick that comes with it.
